Old Navy...WOW!!!
Originally priced this is over $125.00 worth of clothes...but I found a great way to get all of this for only $12.32...that's right, ALL for just $12.32!! (that's over 90% off!!!)
When you walk into my closest Old Navy they had a table full of Valentine day cards for the kids to color. Well, one of the 4 cards each poster had was a $5 off anything in the store!!! I still don't understand why others were not taking advantage of this coupon but my daughter (only 7 but already knows the importance of coupons!!!) ran to show it to me. Well, without wasting any more time, this is what I got: (I did each separately but there wasn't much line so it was pretty quick with my hubby and 2 kids helping me out)
(3) girl t-shirts orig. $9.50each on sale for $6.00- $5.00 Q = 1.08 each (0.08 tax) (these are their new ones for the new season!!!)
(1) Boy t-shirt orig $9.50 on sale for $6.00 - $5.00 Q = 1.08 (new ones too!!!)
(1) sweater for me orig. $25.00 on clearance for $9.49 - $5 Q = 4.49plus tax = $5.40 (was the most expensive of my buys but well worth it!!)
(1) Slipper boots that I have been wanting for the longest...orig. $19.50, clearanced for $9.99 but whey I got to the cashier she said that it was the wrong price...it was less!!! $6.99 - $5 Q = 1.99 plus tax = $2.15
and the last transaction was to pay for my hubby's pants...Originally $34.99 but clearanced at $12.99 or so we thought. Again, when paying, it rung up only $6.99 and all mens clothes on clearance had an extra 50% off making them only $3.49!!! Obviously it was way less than the $5 coupon so we threw in a ball that was originally $8.50 but on sale for $2!!!
Pants $3.49 + $2 ball = $5.49 - $5 coupon = 0.49 cents!!! (.53 cents with tax!!)
So, there you go!!! Over $125 worth of stuff for only $12.32!!!
I could have done many more transactions but was hungry and my hubby had a coupon given to him personally from an owner of a new Colombian restaurant in Katy for a free Family meal well worth over $22 and they also gave us drinks!!!
Oh happy day for me and my family!! Thank you Lord for your Valentines blessings!! But more than all of this, thank you for Your greatest gift of love, giving us your Son Jesus, our Christ!!
CVS...$0.00 out of pocket!!

Locks of Love...Im so proud of my baby girl!!
WHAT IS LOCKS OF LOVE?
"Locks of Love is a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in the United States and Canada under age 18 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis. We meet a unique need for children by using donated hair to create the highest quality hair prosthetics. Most of the children helped by Locks of Love have lost their hair due to a medical condition called alopecia areata, which has no known cause or cure. The prostheses we provide help to restore their self-esteem and their confidence, enabling them to face the world and their peers."
After reading this my all so giving baby girl decided this was something she wanted to do. She let her hair grow to over 10 inches long and this week-end we went in to get it cut. These are her before and after pictures. Maybe this will encourage someone else to do the same. She is always looking for ways to bless others. She makes me so proud!!
BEFORE
This was at the salon....
She ended up loving her new hair. She has gotten so many compliments but the best part of this is that she is blessing a child in need of hair.
