Trip to Randalls (Tom Thumb for some of you!)

Cost: $4.74

I had to go to the dentist today so I decided to stop by the Randalls that is close to my dentists office and this is what I got!!! I was so excited to do this deal.

Randalls (or Tom Thumb for some of you) is having a sale (unfortunately, it ends today) where you buy 5 participating cereals and you get $5 instant savings, so this is what I did:

I bought:
Cocoa Krispies 2.49
Frosteed Mini wheats (Strawberry) 2.49
Rice krispies 2.49
Frosted Mini wheats (cinammon) 2.49
Frosted Mini Wheats (cinammon) 2.49
1 Marshmallow bag 1.00

Sub-Total : 2.49 x 5 = 12.45 +1.00 = 13.45

I used (5) 1.00 Kelloggs MQ's = 5.00
and the Rice Krispies had a peelie on it for $1.00 off any brand Marshmellow bag WYB any Rice Krispies or Cocoa Krispies!! so I got the marshmallows for FREE!!

So, 13.45 - 6.00 MQ = 7.45 - $5 instant savings = 2.45 for 5 boxes!!! (I actually only got charged 2.37. I have no idea why, but Im not complaining. Each box says 2.49 on my receipt..hmmm, wonder what triggered that?)

So I went ahead and did it again.

In total I was charged $4.74 for 10 boxes of cereal and 2 bags of Marshmallows!!! OOoh, I think we will be making some rice krispy treats!!!

And to ADD to this great buy, each box brings tokens for a free Kung Fu Panda blanket. All I need is 8 tokens for each blanket so I will be sending this out tomorrow!!! My kids really LOVE Kung Fu Panda!!! I have seen this blanket and it is actually pretty good. Not cheesy at all!!! I guess I should go back and get some more cereal so I can get another blanket so they each can have their own!!! Let me see if I can find more of those coupons!!! LOL!!

"Lord, help me to reach out to those around me and share the blessings You have bestowed upon me. Amen"

Food for thought: You can't turn back the clock; but you can wind it up again!"

Coupons used:
$3 off $15 CVS CRT = 3.00
(2) 1.50 Colgate IP = 3.00
(1) 1.00 J&J first aid kit = 1.00

So, 24.95 - 7.00 coupons = 17.95 (paid 16.00ECB + 1.95 on GC) so nothing OOP!!!

Enough detergent to last me forever...lol!

Ok, I think I have enough detergent to last me forever...LOL! Actually, I am planning to donate some of this.

Well, if you read my post about Walgreens yesterday you know about the deal I did, including the Arm & Hammer detergent. Well, I got a $5 RR to spend so I started to think and figured out how to spend it.

Start out with $5 RR (registered rewards)

Get 4 Arm & Hammer detergents @ 6.99 = 27.96
With my 4 day coupon it brings it down to $1.99 each so a total of: $7.96 - $5 RR = 2.96 for 4

But since originally it was a total of over $25 I get another $5 RR towards my next purchase!! So, I just go to another Walgreens and do this over and over again!!!

So in total I got so far: $111.84 worth of detergent for $11.88 (a little more for tax). That means $0.74 cents a bottle...

I prefer Tide or Gain, but as a back up, this is pretty good detergent.

And I still walked out with another $5 RR towards my next purchase...so tomorrow, I will do this a couple more times until I get tired. I try to never go to the same store because I want to make sure there is enough stock for everyone. But it doesn't seem like anyone else in my area is doing this deal...

I feel like I have hit the jackpot these last couple of days...and to top it all off, I just got informed that CVS will be holding a 2 day sale on the December 21st. Something like the black friday sale!!! Woohooo, CHRISTmas has arrived extra early for me!!!

Blessings!

My freebies for today!!! Yay!!

Well, today I was able to go and pick up some freebies at my local Kroger.

This is what I got:

(2) 4 pk cottonelle @ 1.19 = 2.38

(1) Duncan Hines Carrot Cake @ 1.00

(2) Reynolds baking cups @ .75 = 1.50

(3) Lifesavers gummies @ 1.00 = 3.00

(1) Mission tortilla @ 1.79 (I had to get this because I was in the negative..lol...and I had a Q)

Sub-total: $9.67

Used the following Q's:

(2) .50 MQ that double for cottonelle= 2.00 (insert)

(1) 1.00 Duncan Hines carrot cake MQ = 1.00 (insert)

(2) .75 Reynold's MQ = 1.50 (insert)

(3) 1.00 MQ for lifesavers = 3.00 (insert)

(1) 1.00 Mission tortillas printable from their web-site = 1.00

(1) .50 cents off from shortcuts (uploaded to your kroger card)

Total Q used: $9.00

So, $9.67 - $9.00 Q's = 0.67 cents!!!

Everything was free but the tortillas...but without them I would've been -0.12!!! This was so cool!!

Dear Lord, I pray for the courage to embrace dreams, the strength to sacrifice for them and the determination to fulfill them. Amen

Food for thought: It's hard to soar with eagles when you are surrounded by turkeys!

Have a blessed evening!!!

Getting ready for next week's run to CVS

I won't be here this week-end because Hubby and I are going to Dallas to hang out with some awesome pastors and our much loved friends (and to get our license as pastors). Many great things are happening and we know this is just the beginning of a new season in our lives as ministers....

But, I don't want to leave you guys hanging so I decided to give you some options on how to roll your ECB's next week....

We are starting out with 4.99 in ECB's from this week....

What I see is the following...

$5.00 ECB's wyb $15.00 worth of Tide 2x or Gain 2x listed or any Duracell Batteries
Limit 1

The batteries will be 3.00 so buy 5 = 15.00
Use the Q's from this sundays P&G insert...some got the .75 and some got the 1.50!!! (Oh how I envy you...lol)

If you are lucky enough to have the 1.50 MQ (manufactured Coupon) your transaction will look like this....

5 packages X $3each = 15.00
minus (5) 1.50 mq = 7.50

so, 15.00 - 7.50 = 7.50

Use the ECb's from last week 7.50 - 4.99 = 2.51 oop!!!!

Get 5 ECB's back so a profit of 2.49!!!! (oop minus ECB's received)

Plus:
There is a tearpad found at most CVS's for $5 off 2 packs of duracell. Sometimes they have them behind the registers and you have to ask for it. I found mine at an isle in the store.
If you find this tearpad you have hit the jackpot!!! This is what your transaction will look like...

5 batteries X 3.00 = 15.00
minus (5) 1.50 MQ = 7.50
minus (1) $5/2 = 5.00

So:
15.00 - 7.50 -5.00 =2.50
add the powerade 32 oz. select varieties $1.59 get $1.59 ecb (Limit 1 )

So, 2.50 + 1.59 = 4.09 add something that is a dollar (a candy bar to treat yourself!) or anything from the trial area that is over .80 cents so you can use your 4.99 ECB from last week!!!

If you can do this last transaction you will be walking out with 16.59 worth of sales merchandise and paying absolutely nada oop...plus you will walk out with a 5 ECB (battery deal) and 1.59 (powerade deal)...so 6.59 to use next week!!! Wooohoooo...

I hope this makes sense. Im really tired but I think this sounds right. Good luck and blessings as you get blessed in your transactions!!!

I see a couple more things but this is what really stands out. If I have time I will try to post other scenerios...

If you need any more suggestions, leave a comment, or for those who know me give me a call!!!

Edit info for this weeks deal

Hi guys,

I just got back from CVS and bought the energy drink for 4.99 and got 4.99 back in ECB's!!! But unfortunately the fusion razors for men were not 5.99 (the ladies were), they are on sale for 9.99. The Q is only good on this razor so this is truely not a good deal. I skipped it all together. Sorry for any confusion.

But we should still have 4.99 to roll next week!!! Wooohooo!!!
